Martin MM12 Retro...like 5 years on the guitar

I thought to bring some retro sound on my old Martin Fingerstyle... (Works perfect with Martin Authentic medium MA540T *****)
But these Retros are the weakest strings that I'v put on an instrument. It sounds bright ringing but very thin and weak .
